Sharing + Caring for Ariel Gonzalez

My name is Kevin and I met Ariel Gonzalez when I was 5 years old and we've remained friends the 34 years since then.
Ariel was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma, a form of lung cancer in late 2014. Those of you that know him know Ariel is a fighter. He came out swinging right away and fought hard all of 2015. After many months of chemo, we were so happy to see Ariel regaining his strength. He was back on his motorcycle, painting, playing music, did a little traveling and even managed to fall in love. He was doing great! Unfortunately, he received some bad news a few weeks ago. The cancer has returned and this time it has metastasized to the brain. After a difficult few weeks and even a few days in hospice, we're so relieved to say that Ariel is now out of hospice and he is committed to continue fighting!
His friends and family will be there every step of the way.
