In Honor and Memory of Jake Moore

With heavy hearts, we ask for your help. Beth Presson lost her dear son and only child Jake Moore, on Monday, October 19, 2015. Jake was a special needs child born with a heart defect and high functioning autism. A miracle child, he survived multiple open heart surgeries and hospitalizations with Beth by his side nursing him every step of the way.  She had to retire when he was young so she could take care of him.

Beth, a single mom with her own disability of being hearing impaired, was his advocate and made sure her son received the best care and education deserved. Jake fought long and hard over the past sixteen years with the help of amazing doctors, the power of prayer, and the abundant love of his dedicated mother.

Jake inspired and touched many lives with his courage and bravery. He lit up the world with his beautiful smile and charisma.

His passion was the world of movies. He was a young Roger Ebert and was so knowledgeable about film he became the movie critic for the local cable station. Jake died before his wish trip to Universal Studios could be fulfilled.

Beth’s loss is wrenching. She is grieving right now and the last thing we want for her to worry about is finances. Funeral expenses are only the beginning for her. Please help in any way you can. Thanking you in advance for your thoughtful consideration during this difficult time.
