Homeless Backpack Kits

Donation protected
On December 13, 2014, my brother Michael, a Rutgers Computer Science student, avid snowboarder, and lover of punk rock music passed away.
This November, Mike would have turned 24 years-old.
Through my involvement with homeless communities at Rutgers and surrounding cities, I was greatly disturbed by how many people Mike's age are living out on the street. If they were my brother or sister, I would want to help them however I could.

So, with your help, I'm going to help them.

I will be buying backpacks and filling them with items similar to the one's in this video here .
For just $20 each, I want to prepare 24 homeless backpack kits to hand out to those in need all in honor of my brother Mike and his upcoming birthday.

This year, roughly 578,424 people were experiencing homelessness
I know many people don’t give the homeless money because they are worried it’s going to get wasted on drugs or alcohol. A backpack filled will practical items and some nutritional food will most likely be more useful to many homeless people than your pocket change.

I hope that you can help in whatever way you can. It is greatly appreciated and will make the greatest difference in someone's life!

This one's for Murdog.
Thank you.
