Gunnar Summersett's Eagle Project

Hi Everyone!
My name is Gunnar Summersett. I am 17 years old and was born and raised in Dublin, California. I started participating in the scouting program in 1st grade and I am currently a Life Scout. I have been working my way through all the requirements to become an Eagle Scout and all I have left to do is my Eagle Project.
For my project, I will be leading the construction of the “Nature Playground” with a memorial bench for fallen officer Scott Lunger. I am very lucky to have my community behind me. The location of the park will be on the property of the Dublin San Ramon Services District (DSRSD) in Dublin. The property has maintained the goal of allowing for a safe, green and engaging space for people to spend time, and my section of the space will allow for children to enjoy the area while exploring the drought plant exhibit.
In collaboration with DSRSD representatives and my scout leaders, I have been planning this project.

As part of my project, I am responsible to raise the money to purchase all these supplies and see this project through. The cost of all the supplies and rentals is about $3,500 dollars. Your funds and donations will make this project possible.
My Promise:
I promise that all funds will go directly to the creation of the park and beach. If any funds are left over I will contact Dublin High School to have a memorial scholarship in Scott’s Name and/or maintaining the area. I promise to see this project through its completion. Know that these donations will make a difference to our community and all the family and friends of Scott. All donations will be greatly appreciated and will be the reason this project is possible.
