Guitars for Refugees

Imagine you've left your home and possessions behind in order to find a more secure life in the USA. When you're allowed across the border, you arrive at a clinic or shelter where you're given some food, clothing, and medical care. A wonderful organization called Circle of Health International (COHI) is providing medical services to refugees -- I want to help heal immigrants' spirits by placing a guitar in every COHI clinic for them to play. Here's what Sera, the founder of COHI, had to say about this idea:

"The last time I had the pleasure of staffing the COHI-supported clinic on the Texas/Mexico border, another volunteer brought in a guitar to leave in the clinic. Several of the immigrants who we were seeing as patients saw the guitar in the corner of the clinic room and they asked if they could play; that was SO restorative for them. Incredible!"

I'm aiming to buy at least a dozen guitars to place in clinics at the Texas/Mexico border. Will you help me buy them? Music is so healing!
