Grandparents are great

Grandparents are just great - don’t you think? Where would we be without them? But have you ever thought where they would be without us. Sadly too many elderly people are left alone without company - no one to hug, no one to laugh with and no one to share their wisdom with. 

With this in mind I would like to celebrate the lives of those that put us here. 
Ivy Jones (my beautiful nan) always loved a chat, meet new people and loved her life. As she came for her time to “relax” she moved into Lloyd’s park nursing home. As in every other nursing home it was full of amazing characters. Unfortunately not all are as fortunate to have regular visitors like my nan did. 

SO.....

What’s it for? - I would like to raise £300 to arrange an activity at the home my nan resided. I am aiming for an activity towards Christmas - if there’s enough maybe even a little present too. 

How am I going to do it - On the 6th October (pray for sun) I’m going to cycle from E3 (my home) to W9 (where nan and grandad had a shop) that’s a total of 14 Mile there and back. Shouldn’t be too challenging
