Haiti Medical Mission Trip

Hi everyone, I am really excited to say that I am going to be going on a medical mission trip to Haiti with my church in the end of March! We will be hosting free clinics up in the mountains, 3 hours from Port au Prince. At these clinics I will be taking vital signs, doing basic assessments, dressing wounds, and deciding which medications are appropriate to administer for each patient. I am having a fundraiser to help pay for my own personal flights and lodging on this trip. Any financial support is much appreciated!
If you are not able to donate financially but still want to help in some way, we are also taking donations of over-the-counter medications such as Tylenol, cough syrups, basic vitamins for all ages, tums, stool softeners and anything else along those lines. Ointments and creams too! Specifically mentioned conditions we will be seeing are infections, vaginal infections, fever, headaches, chest pain, gas, and acidic stomachs. Other items we will be looking for are bandages, medical tape, gauze, alcohol wipes, and similar items. I am so excited to use critical thinking and all the knowledge I've gained in school to give back to people in need. I know it will be an amazing experience and I am so thankful to have my LPN license to go on a trip like this. I appreciate all the help and support, thank you!
