Hi! I'm Bless. I'm a 7 year-old, but I have the attitude of a young girl and am desperate to show you love and affection. I've had a very challenging life. I'm currently in a much better place than before, but I'm told that I face big challenges down the road and I am in need of your help, to remove my cancer.
My history: I had an owner I lived with for years but he gave me up when he couldn't house me anymore. I was passed around until I landed with bad people who bred me and didn't give me love or proper care. My owner found me a year later and I was so happy when he took me home again! But just 3 years after getting me back from the bad people, my owner again said he couldn't keep me anymore and was bringing me to a shelter (where dogs my age and breed are often killed).
Luckily, the same lady, Liz, who took in my puppy Honor, that I had in my litter 3 years ago, came to my rescue! She found me a temporary home with her friend Robbin: an animal advocate, her human family and her large pet family of guinea pigs and rabbits. Since they took me in, I've spent more time outdoors, running and playing than I've spent in my lifetime. Thanks to their love, my perpetual anxiety, and fear of abandonment is slowly going away.
In the 6 weeks that I've been with Liz & Robbin, I've been spayed, given all of the necessary and optional vaccines, and tested and/or treated for everything under the sun. Unfortunately, during this process, they discovered that *****I have a cancerous tumor on my chest! I need an aggressive surgical removal of the mast cell tumor and surrounding tissue. ***** Only then will we know if I need additional surgeries or treatment based on the rating of the cancer they remove. This surgery will keep me from premature death and allow me to enjoy the new life I've been granted!
Liz & Robbin have done so much for me, and spent much of their savings getting me healthy: back to a proper weight, my medications, surgery, labs and vet visits (not to mention lots of time off from work to accomplish these tasks).
***What I need***
1) Financial support to help pay for my cancer-removal surgery & follow up care.

****Liz & Robbin are EXTREMELY GRATEFUL for ANY support you can provide, even if it's just kind words of support or advice. They both have financial obligations to other pets and family that prevent them from being able to cover the costs of my surgery. Proof of vet bills are happily provided and before and after photos of my surgery will be posted as well.
