Good vibes for Georgie

Donation protected
As you are probably aware, our brave friend, sister, daughter, and all round amazing young woman, Georgie, has been hit with cancer for the second time. In 2014, when Georgie was just 23 and working as a nurse, she was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, a rare form of cancer. After undergoing 4 intense rounds of chemotherapy, months in Geelong hospital, a  bone marrow transplant, followed by a challenging 100 day recovery in Melbourne, 2 years later Georgie was finally getting back on track.
In August this year Georgie was even strong enough to participate in a 24 hour swim to raise money for charity. After becoming unwell from the swim, it was immediately clear something wasn't right,  shortly after we were told Georgie had relapsed with the same terrible disease we thought she had beaten.
Georgie is due to have another bone marrow transplant in January, meaning she will again have to relocate to Melbourne to be close to the hospital for 4 months. In this time her Mum, Robyn, will have to take unpaid leave from her job as a teacher to provide 24 hour care for Georgie.
Sadly Georgie's father suddenly and unexpectedly passed away in July this year, devastating the whole family and leaving Georgie to face this challenge  without the support of her father.
Our goal is to provide a little extra financial support so that Georgie and her family can focus on treatment and getting Georgie better again.
Please donate, share and send your best wishes and positive vibes to help Georgie get her life back.
