Off-grid solar electricity

We (Alice Eckles and Ross Conrad) bought our land about five years ago and have been living in a yurt without running water or electricity for five years. We plan to build our cordwood house here. We have a well with a hand pump and just now this summer got running water. We also have the foundation for our house . Our plan is to put in solar panels summer 2016. However both my husband and I are beekeepers and writers, so our income is modest. Simply put without help it is unlikely we will meet our goal of getting solar panels in summer of 2016, before the government incentives expire, though we have already taken some steps in that direction.
