Giving baby Ava a brother or sister
It's me again, Frank here.
I want to start this off by taking a moment to give the biggest thank you to everyone who has been supporting Nicki and Casey since the passing of baby Ava. The phone calls, the visits, checking up on them - absolutely everything you have all done to help them get through their day to day comfortably. THANK YOU! you are all a huge reason why my daughters can smile again.
I am here to ask for your help just one more time.
As some of you may or may not know, Casey and Nicki tried to give Ava a brother or sister last month. They started the fertility process again in January and did what thought was a successful insemination in February. After 5 positive pregnancy tests - getting the girls all amped up - Nicki went for some final blood work, and it was negative. Unfortunately, Nicki's body was producing a pregnancy hormone which is what was giving them all the false positives. After hearing the heartbreaking news that the insemination did not work, it left the girls back at square one. Only this time - they were contacted by their insurance to alert them that their fertility benefits - which is a lifetime benefit rather than a benefit that gets renewed yearly - has been depleted.
So, on top of not being pregnant, they now had a large medical bill, which they took care of.
This time around, the girls will have no help. No insurance. There is no support for grieving parents to even help get these girls started. These girls are working overtime just to start saving all over again.
This brings the reason for this GoFundMe. I'm here to ask for your help in giving Ava a brother or sister. These girls deserve nothing more than to have a baby here that they can love, protect and take care of. Ava deserves to live on through a brother or sister.
My friends, if you can help these girls achieve even a fraction of their dream, I will be forever grateful and so will these girls.
I/we continue to see how wonderful of mother's they are to baby Ava. Can we all help them reach their goal of giving her a brother... Or sister ☺️
