Since our formation in 2012 The Specialized Project has been run from the front and spare rooms of the team members and they're paying out of there own pockets for studio, storage and transport. As we grow we find ourselves needing more equipment and a larger infrastructure to support our activities
After eight years we have grown as a community project and acquired equipment for our events, we've built up merchandising stock and developed the need of a production studio.
We're currently having to spend money on storage and studio space. We feel that it wouldn't be right to use the money raised from our events or releases so we have decided to launch a separate to help with our administrative costs.
To grow as a serious business working within the charity and music sectors we must do the things that all small business must do, and means a professional base for our work, a business address, a place to develop and build our projects.
The Specialized Project now requires a small office/workshop that we can use as the home of our organisation. We've decided that it will be based in the South West of England as that's where the majority of our equipment is stored and where our production takes place.
We are hoping to raise funds to support the rental of a small building of approximately 150 to 200 sq feet with a rental up to £4000 and utility bills. Please help us to raise our first years rent (or maybe our first two years) so that we can continue to grow and bring much need support to those that really need it
