Giovani Beauchamps  :)
Giovani passed away on the early morning of March 23rd, 2017.  For those of you who knew Gio, you know how wonderful of a person he was. For those who didn't, let me give you a little picture of his life. Gio was  born August 5, 1988 to his loving parents, Joseph Francky Beauchamps and Livida Maria Beauchamps. He was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. At 12 years old, his parents sent him to the United States to live with his aunt for a better life. Gio grew up in the Rocklin/Lincoln area and attended Lincoln High School where he met my daughter April. The initial attraction grew to the love of each other and made them inseparable. Their frinds referred to them as 'velcro', never apart. Gio was a witty guy who always had a quick reply and made everyone laugh and smile around him. Most of all he was a fantastic mate to my daughter. Almost 8 years ago Gio and April got married. They had a secret wedding because they were worried family would not approve because they were too young and not financially secure. They had something that money does not buy and after this horrible Thursday morning, those that know them, can see it. You can see it in April's messages, the way she talks to people, her stories about Gio and all the wonderful pictures of them. They were a true love story. Once married, they had another goal. Gio wanted to get his parents to the States. After years of paperwork, saving money, a few trips back to Haiti, they were able to get them here last December, right before Christmas. It was a dream come true for Gio and now it was time to work on their family. Sadly enough Gio became ill and that did not happen. Nevertheless, Gio was our family and for many of you became part of yours. Gio was diagnosed with a big heart, to big for his body to handle, but not to big for all of us. Quote from April today to her husband "Fly High My Love".
