Donate to the Department of Michigan, Marine Corps League Foundation.
The Foundation is a subsidiary of the Marine Corps League, Department of Michigan. The Marine Corps League was incorporated in 1937 by an act of Congress. The Marine Corps League is made up of Active and Reserve U.S Marines, and Marines Honorably discharged who once served on active duty. Navy Corpsmen and Chaplains who served with the Fleet Marine Forces are also eligible. There is an auxiliary unit of the Marine Corps League that raises donations as well to help fund scholarship programs and veteran services.
The Department of Michigan Marine Corps League Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt charitable organization. Established to raise money and serve the needs of Michigan veterans, their families, and descendants through programs, scholarships, and services provided by the Marine Corps League, Department of Michigan.
Scholarships – The Department of Michigan, Marine Corps League and the Department of Michigan Marine Corps League Auxiliary has been providing grants to applicants for many years. These scholarships help descendants of Michigan Marine Corps League member's with college expenses.
Accredited Veteran Services – The Michigan Marine Corps League Veteran Service Division, employs Veteran Affairs Accredited Service Officers to assist veterans and their families with the application process when applying for benefits from the U.S. Department of Affairs. Our Motto: "Don’t Face The VA Alone.” Our trained service officers help veterans complete and file applications and will assist at no charge all veteran appeal any claim denied.
Annual Veterans Administration Christmas Parties – The holidays can be a lonely time for Marines and Veterans with little family at the VA Hospitals and State Homes in Michigan. Food, entertainment, and small gifts are given to Veterans at this time.
