Get Sam to New Zealand (to Swim)

Hi everyone. I'm Lucy and I have set up this page to try and raise money to help contribute towards the cost of flights to New Zealand for my boyfriend Sam Atkinson; an 18 year old competitive swimmer (who lives in Greater Manchester, UK) with extremely high aspirations.

He currently swims at local, regional and national level and occassionally swims at international level, competing against some world champions and even Olympians.
Recently an opportunity has arisen which involves Sam moving to New Zealand for some time to train with a superb coach. This will enable him to spend considerably more time training than he currently does and also he will have access to much better facilities and resources than he has currently.

I have set this page up in the hope that we will be able to raise at least a little bit of money to contribute towards the cost of the flights to New Zealand, as it really would mean the world to Sam and would be an amazing opportunity. 

The plan is for Sam to head out to New Zealand in February and stay there for at least a couple of months to really try and progress and ultimately (hopefully) be able to represent his country at a world championship level.

It really would mean the world to me if you could contribute some money, even the tiniest amount would really help. For as long as I have known Sam he has talked about wanting to go and live in either Australia, New Zealand or America, and now he has actually got this opportunity to do so, I really want it to go ahead. Similarly, his ultimate dream is to one day compete at the Olympics, and with opportunities like this, it helps him get that one step nearer.
