Many of you are aware that I have been a mentor for almost 5 years in Big Brothers Big Sisters and have asked if there was anything that you could do to help.
This year, I asked Quan’taz what he wanted for Christmas and like any 17 year old, he wants his drivers license. I’ve seen first hand that a major barrier to good employment in low income situations is the lack of transportation.
Drivers Education is $285 and I thought that this would be an awesome opportunity to show Quan’taz that there are people out there that want to see him continue to excel as he enters adulthood. If you’d be able to contribute $5, $10, or whatever you’re comfortable with, know that it’s going to a worthwhile cause and we both are appreciative. Merry Christmas!
