Get BELLA to SummerCamp2019

New year, new goals!

Bella has mastered her WALKER, maneuvers her WHEELCHAIR and most recently we received her new pair of CRUTCHES but we'll call them NEW ARMS! God's timing allowed us to finally get medicaid for Bella which then gave us the GREEN LIGHT ($$$) to go forth and find outside of school Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy.

Finding adequate care on a 1 household income and still adjusting to Georgia's pace is no easy task. As Bella's parents, it's our job to be the best advocate and find the best resources to help her excel. 

For the past year Bella has attended LEKOTEK play therapy sessions. LEKOTEK provides a unique summer experience for children with disabilities, their siblings and/or friends. Using diverse software and input devices, children benefit from independent and group participation. www.lekotekga.org

Camp offers a break from the "therapy" routine. Campers experience fun-filled, challenging activities that develop literacy, communication, fine motor, cognitive, and recreational abilities. Children with and without disabilities play and learn together in an environment that facilitates success.

I'm reaching out to our village for support to cover the fees for the yearly tuition and summer camp program that LEKOTEK request. We appreciate any and all support that we continuously  receive from our loved ones and we are happy to share her testimony with all.
