Box4Health is a community programme designed to increase health and fitness in youths and adults across North London. 

Young people:

Box4Health focus on reduces criminal activities and negative behaviour of young people motivate and inspire them to be the best they can be through sports. We believe that every young person is entitled to a bright future, inspired by their hopes and dreams, regardless of their background.

Like any sport, boxing creates a daily discipline of mental and physical fitness. The kids develop a strong sense of themselves and learn how to rely on one another in a team environment. They view one another as family members, and learn how to communicate, resolve conflicts and celebrate successes together. Unique to the program is how parents are encouraged to be their child’s “head coach” as the organisation works to strengthen family bonds. We are passionate about getting 1000s of young people out of gangs each year .

The programme also consist of educated young people to make better choices with food. 

Type of classes:

little Boxer

Little boxer will be a 30-minute class for little ones ages 4-6 to learn the science of boxing in a fun, safe environment, challenge their minds, and make new friends. Class sizes will be small to give each child enough individual instruction.

Youth Beginner

Youth Beginner is ideal for individuals who have little to no experience boxing or exercising. They will safely learn the fundamentals, including punches, how to hit the heavy bag, drills, and more. This educational class will help your child acquire a new skill and tap into his or her inner athlete. 

Adults:

Our goal is to use boxing as a tool to help people to increase their health & fitness.  Box4Health aim to focus on people who are finding it challenging to:

- Motivate themselves to exercise 
- Reduce stress, increase energy & focus 
- Develop confidence, self-esteem and coordination 

Box4Health will offer 30 minutes personal training service to customers with different needs and health conditions. We are committed to offering a way of exercise and staying healthy to all people of all ages in the general public.  Box4Health can reduces the risk canary heart diseases in male and female if all ages.  Boxing can burn calories and fat if you have a limited amount of time to workout. Therefore, we aim to promote 30 minutes HIIT boxing sessions. Studies as shown that High Intensity Interval Training burns more calories than jogging on a treadmill for an hour.

Type of Classes:

BOXING FITNESS (ALL LEVELS)

We do everything fighters do to get in top shape. This includes hitting the heavy bag, jumping rope, circuit training, HIIT (High Intensity Interval training) and more. Our classes use boxing conditioning to help you get in the best shape possible while learning correct technique.

BEGINNER BOXING 

This class is perfect for someone new to boxing or those wanting to brush-up on fundamentals. Beginner Boxing delivers an effective workout, but we take things down a notch to help you learn the basics of boxing technique and conditioning. Class sizes are small so you get the experience of personal training in a group setting

Women only class

At the women only session you're not just part of a class, you're part of a team. We provide a supportive, body-positive environment for you to meet your goals and connect with other amazing women. You'll develop the confidence and mental toughness you need to overcome obstacles in and outside of the gym. You'll never leave a class the same way you came.

Funding:

It will cost roughly £2,000 hire studio depending on location, size, overheads expenses, employees and equipment. The three largest expenses will be rent of the studio space and boxing equipment

We aim to raise £2,000 by April 2019 which is 6 months from now.
essential, We are asking for support of the first payment of £2,000 to get set up. The support will mean a lot because being active has always carried me on a right path of education. Fitness at any age is important to health and well-being, Box4Health will give young children the chance to continue developing their basic, fundamental motor skills through multi-sports. This will improve their coordination skills, self-confidence and self-esteem while providing them with the correct attitudes towards health and nutrition through diet and exercise, essentially for their future.
