Gary Donaldson Legal Defense Fund

Gary Donaldson is a seventy year old Vietnam veteran. He was arrested last week for growing marijuana in his back yard for personal use for pain and PTSD . He is charged with possession with intent to deliver . He has never delivered . He never INTENDED to deliver.  He was growing a large crop to process an amount sufficient for his foreseeable future . The VA CHOSE to keep him on insane levels of opioids for the pain of being in Vietnam. He is no longer on ten Vicodin a day, due to marijuana use instead.  Please consider how crazy these laws and medical practices are to people in pain .Gary needs help with legal fees, which threaten to ruin his life!
Please give what you can . Our veterans deserve better . I have had two men contact me about possible discrepancies in Gary's story . One was a gentleman named Ed, who kindly explained to me how the campaign should be changed, and I did. He was very helpful and kind. The second was a man named Micheal, who, before contacting me for an explanation, did some nasty and cowardly things to make him feel better about himself.  According to Michael, I have committed a crime and Gary deserves no mercy. He said he had contacted GFM, the FBI, and the Department of Veterans  Affairs. My name is Connie Hazer, and I live in Loves Park Illinois . This is my first every GFM campaign. My neighbor and friend, Gary Donaldson, DID serve in Vietnam, and DOES suffer from extreme pain and PTSD. He has an appointment with an attorney this week, and needs the funds already donated to pay the retainer for his defense.
