Galentine's Day - Project Timely Love is dedicated to assisting homeless, home displaced, abused, and low income women in Mecklenburg County and Iredell County via donations of underwear, pads, tampons, and other toiletries that are needed for basic care.
The Second Annual Galentine's Day - Project Timely Love event will take place at Ice Martini Bar on Thursday, February 9th, 2017 from 5:30 - 9:30pm.
I have created this GoFundMe in addition to the event, drop boxes at Town Halls, and Amazon Wishlist, because my friend Michelle has found a warehouse sale that has literal pallets of tampons that they will sell for 50 cents - $1.00 a box, which is absolutely incredible!
And though the original goal has been met I have been asked to leave the GoFundMe open because this is an easier way for people to contribute and the wholesaler gets pallets in daily and will work with me on obtaining any of the supplies the women we are helping may need.
