A daughter of a Veteran and a Teacher, Gabby will fight!  

My personal friend just received test results today that no parent ever wants to hear. Gabby, his precious 4 year old daughter, was diagnosed with leukemia.

Please add Gabby and her family to your prayer lists and pray for health, comfort, and healing.  Also, pray for her parents to stay strong and positive for Gabby and her siblings.

"Today is a day that I will never forget. Today, they took two pieces of bone marrow from Gabby's hips and tested them. This evening we received the results. This evening we were told our daughter, our baby girl, our Gabalicious has ALL Leukemia. Tonight we were forever changed. Looking at her makes me cry. She has no idea what is going on. She is trusting the doctors because God is trusting the doctors to be in her life. God set this plan. Yes I am unbelievably saddened. But I am not broken.

Her blood has a timeline thanks to the amazing hematologist and oncologist. They can see she got this bone marrow disease and cancer exactly one month ago. This is good news....her red cells and white cells and platelets were so depleted that the cancer could only attach to 3,000 of her white cells. We begin chemotherapy this week before these cells begin to multiply. She's the kindest and most feisty four year I know. She's so strong yet gentle. I cannot wait to see my beautiful warrior kick this Leukemia! Your prayers will be appreciated.

The first year will be tough, but it's her first month that is the most critical and the most painful. I don't know what you can do for me.....I really don't. Please just hug and kiss your little ones and your big ones tonight and every night. They are the reason we as parents breathe!
