Human Rights Awareness Fund

We are PHIL 51, a group of Swarthmore students raising money for human rights awareness. Through this page and other events around campus, we hope to generate proceeds to Women for Women International, an organization that helps women in countries affected by conflict. This nonprofit operates in Rwanda, South Sudan, Bosnia, Nigeria, and many other countries. Women for Women International hopes to create comprehensive programs to encourage economic and social empowerment. The money we raise will be used to provide women spaces in which to learn about their legal rights and acquire vocational skills.
