Hidden River Cave is an enormous natural cavern in the town of Horse Cave, Kentucky. The cave's largest rooms have been closed for 73 years because of pollution and a land dispute which was recently settled. This is one of Kentucky's biggest caves and it should be open for the public to see. The American Cave Conservation Association is working to reopen the cave and install America's first underline ziplines in a natural cavern. The small businesses located in the town around the cave have struggled since the cave closed in 1943. Building an adventure tour with ziplines, rope bridges and other fun challenges will support the town and the nonprofit Association which manages the cave. Every penny raised will go directly towards construction on this project and we already have a $100,000 challenge donation which we will not receive unless we can raise an additional $300,000. Anyone donating will receive two tickets for the tour once it is completed and opened and anyone donating $1,000 or more will also have their name engraved an an honorary donor wall near the cave entrance.
