Conklin Family Adoption Fund

Hello ! We are the Conklins, Lawrence and Michele have been married 20 years. We have 2 biological sons Lawrence Jr   22 and Zachariah 19. Lawrence is married to our wonderful Daughter-in-law Kimberlee and they have our first grandchild Jayda. We have been a foster to adopt family for nearly 5 years.  We have had many wonderful children placed in our home, 4 stayed and became part of our forever family. Emily 13, Jack 8, Nickolas 6, and Michael 4.

In the spring of 2013 our friend shared on facebook about a boy age 13 who needed host family for the summer. We prayed about it and decided it would be a great exerience for our family. We had done fresh air kid thing before and it was fun. We thought we would bring Igor to our house for the summer make some memories, learn about his country, and at the end of summer send him "home".  We had no intent to ever adopt internationally !!

Well God had other plans, he fit right in, the kids loved him, he loved the kids and he filled a place in our hearts we did not know was empty.  Then the end of the summer came, we did not send him "home" we sent him back to an orphanage. No Mom there , No dad ,No sweet Niece Baby Jayda, No big brothers to take you fishing or little brothers to swim ,ride bikes with, No sister -in -law Kimberlee to hug. Its not a home !!!

Igor deserves a home !!! Igor once told me, " Mom I want to be a good Man when I grow up, I want to marry a Good wife like you that cares for the children and prays with them. I want to take care of my kids and fix the house and car like Dad. "



Please help us bring Igor home. He will be 16 in March in Ukraine that means he is no longer able to be adopted. Time is runnin out
We are getting closer and decided to adopt Janelle also.
