Emergency Surgery for Fuzzball

Please help my kitty Fuzzball!
I've had Fuzzball for over 6 years now. I rescued him as a 4 week old kitten when he was found on a street corner abandon in a box.
A few days ago I noticed he was having trouble peeing in the litter box. He would be in there for 10 minutes and only a small amount of urine would be in the box afterwards. I immediately scheduled him a visit with our vet.
Dr. Kerr did a physical examination, listened to the symptoms we described and said it sounded like just a normal UTI. He started Fuzzball on antibiotics and said we should see an improvement in a few days.
Well on Friday morning just three days after starting the antibiotics I noticed that Fuzzball was continuing to decline instead of improve. He was becoming listless, not very responsive and I was noticing blood in his urine! I immediately called the vet to have him examined further. Something just wasn't right!
This time Dr. Kerr decided to do an X-ray to see if there might be a stone. The result was cause for great concern! There were 13 stones lined up in Fuzzballs urethra blocking his ability to urinate! The Dr opted for immediate surgery and Fuzzball went in for surgery at 4pm. After doing another x-ray and finding MORE stones to remove, the vet finally finished at 9pm! Fifty stones! Yes, that's right, FIFTY!
Well, you can imagine how much 5 hours of surgery, the anesthesia and at least two x-rays cost! Gads! So I am trying to help make a dent in the HUGE vet bill. I've never used GoFundMe before but a friend recommended it so here I am!
Your help would be greatly appreciated!
PS: The vet advised me to change up Fuzzy's diet so he can avoid this painful condition in the future. Thank goodness! Poor guy! Wish I had know sooner!!
