Funds for James Johnson

Donation protected
James Johnson is an extremely hard working man with two young children of his own, who has had his job taken from him for speaking out about injustices in the workplace.

After having worked at the US Embassy for 3 years this last June, James was dismissed with no warning and no notice, meaning his pay check that week was his last. He has since gone through three separate appeals with both the workers tribunal and the international governor of workers' rights, to no avail, being dismissed at every stage.

While James is attempting one last try to get his job back by appealing to the Embassy directors in the US, mounting legal costs and the need to care for his children is resulting in a huge financial strain on their lives. Most workers at the Embassy receive a severance package and assistance into finding similar work in other sectors, James has been left out in the rain so to speak, with not even a reference to obtain further work at the same level again.

This case is being discussed by some media outlets, mainly in print, but most are too afraid to approach the subject and to offer any assistance, so I appeal to every one of you reading, to dig deep and help a fellow man in trouble. This world is a cruel place, but we can make it better together.

I will be updating this campaign as the article goes to print.
