Fundraising to volunteer in Laos

I have been accepted onto the Volunteer Eco Students Abroad Program and will be traveling to SouthEast Asia this year to take part in an important sustainable community development and Elephant rehabilitation project! I will work in conjunction with the Elephant Conservation Centre in Sayaboury and in the local schools. Any donations will help to facilitate the means for starting a major community development project which will include construction in addition to educating the community on matters of conservation, sustainability, health/hygiene and English proficiency! This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me to make a difference donating my time and energy to volunteering overseas this summer! I have always enjoyed volunteering whether it be close to home or further afield and being given the chance to make a difference in another country has been something I have always wanted to take part in and now this is my opportunity!
