Help buy Tina a mobility scooter
50year old Tina Atherton from Sheffield suffers with lymphadema in both legs, diabetes, nerve damage in her hands, depression and has fought phenmonia 3times.
On the 9th January 2016 at 5:45am some unknown criminal tried to steal her mobility scooter and somehow set her flat on fire, with her inside. She managed to escape after her fire alarm woke her up, but broke her shoulder in doing so. The fire destroyed everything and she now has to try rebuild her life and try get back to normal.
Usually I travel around the UK to display my Pimped Wheelchair and raise money for charity. Unfortunitily because I am execting surgerysoon I've had to cancel everything. So until I recover I would like to try and raise enough to buy Tina a brand new mobility scooter. At the moment she has a powered wheelchair but struggles to use it as she finds scooters much easier
Please donate anything you can to help Tina get her life back on track and get her independance back. The scooter she had before was a 8mph model which did everything she needed, I would like to raise £1000 to get her somethig similar or even better. If you can't afford to donate then you can still help by clicking "Share" as many times as you can.
In the link below you can read what South Yorkshire Police put about the fire.
