Abraham Castro has a love of learning and attends an elite private school on a full scholarship. He lives with his father and sister near Downtown LA, yet at this moment the family is on the brink of homelessness.
Abraham is an inquisitive and thoughtful young man. He loves to learn for the sake of learning, and has a variety of academic interests—in his senior year he is taking AP Statistics, Chinese 4, AP Literature, Advanced Studio Art, Environmental Sustainability, and Principals of Engineering. Despite challenges, he has maintained a 3.4 GPA and has been active in the Pilgrim School Cross Country and Track teams as well as a member of the jazz band. Abraham is in the process of applying to college and plans to study architecture, music, and art.
We are raising funds to support the family as they get back on their feet. They have found a room to rent after 2 months of couch-surfing. 100% of the funds raised will go to support their housing needs. Thank you for your support!
