Fulbright in Laos

Over a year ago I graduated from Stockton University where I received my B.A. in Communication Studies. During my last semester, my professor suggested that I apply for a Fulbright. I have always wanted to live abroad/travel but never thought it was possible. Now I’m blessed to say I have a once in a lifetime opportunity to be a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Laos. 


I will be leaving for Laos in August 2019 to begin my grant. Poetry and music are the extracurricular activities I plan on implementing while I’m there! My life has been marked by the amazing teachers I’ve had and I hope to do the same in the classroom.


As many of you also know, as a freelancer, the inconsistencies doesn’t allow a steady income. My income will come from teaching but the job doesn’t start immediately. I will be in Laos for a year and would appreciate your assistance! The purpose of this page is to raise money for some of my expenses such as flight ticket, books, arts and crafts, devices, school supplies, essentials etc. 


I knew there was something special about Laos that made it catch my eye out of 160 countries available. I am so grateful for this opportunity and that I have people in my life who push me to go after my dreams! Thank you for taking the time to read this and show support in anyway possible.
