Running on Empty

As many are aware, there was a large barn fire at Loranda Farms and Kitty Kottage in Ladner B.C. last Wednesday night that not only destroyed the barn itself, but severed Power to the properties that are adjacent to the barn. While we are thankful all were saved (2 legged and 4 legged) Pathfinder Pet Care is now in the dark without heat or electricity.

Some of you may or may not be aware that Sophia, their daughter, requires constant nursing care as she has a rare life threatening, life limiting, illness. She is oxygen dependent, on a feeding pump 24/7, and, unfortunately, received a palliative designation this past December. Canuck Place Children's Hospice has been keeping Sophia safe and warm  and cared for until power is restored and the home has electricity to power all of Sophia's special equipment.

Whilst generators have been donated and so graciously accepted so heaters can keep them all warm and hot plates can keep their food warm...the fact of the matter is that it costs $240.00/day in gas to power all of the generators required to facilitate this.

We are asking, if possible, for small donations to help pay for the gas to power the generators or if you would prefer, gas gift cards are also being accepted in lieu of.  If you can't afford to donate then all we ask is you take a moment to please share this link!
Any overage or monies not used will be forwarded / passed on to Loranda Farms to help re build the barn.
