Help a family in need

Hi!  My name is Dalton Johnson, I'm 17, and my family is in desperate need of help.

     My parents have always done a great job of caring for me and my 9-year-old brother, Dante.  My dad literally worked with a broken bone in his back for 5 years to make sure the family was taken care of.   Dad finally had to stop working in 2015 because his body would no longer hold out.  This past February, he had to have a spinal fusion procedure done, and my mother has also had 2 back surgeries done in the past year.  To make matters worse, my dad developed psoriatic arthritis and now has to take chemotherapy once a week for the rest of his life.

     Neither of my parents can walk without using a cane, much less work.  I can't take a job due to taking a full high school class load of Honors classes and an additional class through a college in Louisiana.  I also take care of most the chores around the house - cooking, doing dishes, doing laundry, sweeping, etc.

     This is where we really need your help.  My parents have both been fighting for Disability benefits, but the wait is longer than we have left.

      My brother and I will not have a Christmas this year.  Our ultilities will be cut off by the end of December and we will be evicted from our apartment 10 days later.  Our only car will be repossessed by the end of January.

     I'm not used to asking others for help, but I don't know where else to turn. Mom and Dad are trying everything they can think of to keep us afloat, but with less than $300 in the bank to cover $1500 worth of monthly bills the future doesn't look too bright at all.
