Friend's of the MCVFD

Dear Friends of the MCVFD,

The MCVFD is a volunteer fire prevention service provider made up of citizens from your community. They volunteer their time and skills to assist the residents and visitors of their response district during fire, rescue and medical emergencies. They respond to your emergency, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. From 2013 they responded to over 1,080 fire/rescue/medical related emergencies. 646 of the calls were done in the unincorporated area. And 273 of those calls were fire related.

In a home fire, people may have as little as one to two minutes to escape safely from the time the smoke alarm sounds. Knowing how to use that time wisely can make a life-saving difference. Your support of the MCVFD's efforts would be greatly appreciated. In thanks for your contribution to the McLendon-Chisholm Volunteer Fire Department I feel confident that they would like to send you a receipt of your giving and a thank you letter.

Fortunately for this wonderful organization, there are hundreds of people, like you, inside and out of the MCVFD response area who realize the huge expense involved in providing emergency services. Maintaining state-of-the-art fire fighting vehicles, rescue equipment, two fire stations and delivering programs that teach children fire prevention is in a word EXPENSIVE!

All contributions will be able to further assist their growing fire department to being first responders and to answer your call.
