Freeport (Fireworks) Sky Concert

The Freeport (Fireworks) Sky Concert has been a great community celebration over the years.  This years event is scheduled for Sunday July 2nd from 2pm-dusk with fireworks begining at dusk (approx 9:40pm).

It has been brought to the attention of the Firework Committee that the City of Freeport will only be able to help with a max. $7500 for this years event. We are asking for the communities help in funding the rest! The fireworks alone cost $15,000 (we were hoping for a $25,000+ display but due to lack of funding that isn't possible this year) plus expenses such as entertainment, broadcasting, advertising, and miscellaneous. The total the committee is trying to raise is $20,000. With any EXTRA money going towards 2018 event!!

Every $1 counts. We are hoping each indivudual can pitch in $1 to help make this event happen.

We are also seeking volunteers to help with the events the day of the Freeport (Fireworks) Sky Concert.  Be sure to contact a current Freeport Firework Committee Member or come to our weekly meetings!
