My Tio, Pavel Ramirez, has been detained at Adelanto Detention Center since May of this year for crossing the border in search of better opportunities and being reunited with his family. He came from Guatemala where he was a pharmacist and lived with his wife and two kids.
Pavel began receiving threats due to his family’s history of political activism during Guatemala’s Civil War, and made the decision to migrate to the US in search of safety and stability.
Pavel is being held at a 13,000 bond and has this week to raise funds. Anything you could donate is super appreciated. Help Pavel in reuniting with his family.
