Nick & Shauna Baby Fund-IVF

When Nickolas and I got married almost 3 years ago, we knew that having a child would be difficult but not impossible.  Having already had four now grown children before I meet Nickolas,  and seeing how he easily stepped into the roll of step father I knew how awesome of a father he would be.  We knew and spent many hours discussing the possible difficulties of conceiving naturally at my age and decided to try on our own at first.  After nearly 6 years together we have no baby, one miscarriage and total devastation.  Fast forward to today-- we now know from doctors that the only way we can achieve our dream of having a baby is to use donor eggs and IVF.  
After what seems like months and months of researching we have found a clinic in New York that has a great success rate and several options price wise for us to choose from.  We have  deceided to choose the package that is for 6 frozen donor eggs (from a donor we choose) with IVF.    Research has shown that the use of frozen eggs has equal to and sometimes more of a success rate compared to fresh eggs and economically and time wise is the smart choice for us considering the travel that we will need to do to and from New York.

As alot of you probably know health insurance does not cover infertility past the inital testing except in a few states and Texas is not one of them.  Unfortunately the financial burden is too much for us to carry on our own.  It is a 10,000 process plus travel to New York from Texas  and as stated my insurance will not cover this. We are saving and cutting corners anywhere we can but still need help.
