The City of Alexandria is charging $810 for a FOIA request that was submitted related to receiving more information on the change in scope of the PY Metro project. This fee has not been waived for the Potomac Yard Civic Association, as was requested.
Request submitted: Dear City of Alexandria, I would like to request any memos, email communication, or other written reports between and among City Staff, the Mayor and City Council members related to the recent change in scope of the PY metro project, and the elimination of metro access at E. Glebe, as well as between City Staff and/or City Council and any Developers with interest in this project, as detailed by City Manager Mark Jinks in a Memo dated May 4, 2018 - Potomac Yard Metrorail Station Update on Revised Project Scope. I look forward to your response on this issue, thanks in advance.
City of Alexandria: "Due to the volume of documents that must be reviewed to retrieve the requested information and the number of parties involved in the request, the City of Alexandria estimates that it will incur costs totaling $810.00 to fulfill your request. This estimate represents 22.5 hours to search, access, retrieve, and provide the requested information from City Council, Staff, and the City Manager's Office."
