Firefighters helping needy children

Currently, in our small rural community (of approximately 500 people), our local school is without any playground equipment. While the children take part in cooperative games and some carry-out equipment, there is not currently any standing structure of a more permanent nature with regard to playground equipment. The Langton Firefighters have committed to supporting the purchase of accessible equipment for the approximately 200 school children (also bused in from surrounding rural areas) in this small rural village.

The Local volunteer firefighters are committed to improving physical health, outside activity and play time for our children in the community in order to promote healthy, active lifestyles.

Playground equipment is a costly endeavor that takes many hands and phases over time to reach our financial goal of $50,000. Please kindly consider a donation to this worthwhile cause that will benefit the entire community for many years to come. Every little bit will help us to "climb that ladder" to reach our goal.
