Firefighter Kampschaefer Fund

Donation protected
On Dec. 20, 2017, just days before Christmas, we lost a great man, husband and father to cancer . Firefighter Jeff Kampschaefer, a sergeant for the Okolona Fire Department in Louisville, Ky., was married to my cousin Sarah, and they have two young children - Payton (7) and Aiden (3).  Jeff was just 37 years old, and as I'm sure is the case when any young person loses a spouse, and any young child loses a parent, difficult days are ahead for this family.

If I knew how to raise a million dollars to secure their financial future, I'd definitely do it. For now, I'm hoping to raise any amount that I can take with me when I travel after Christmas from my home in Boston to Louisville for Jeff's funeral.  Every dollar donated will be used by Sarah for the true needs of Payton and Aiden, whether now or in the future. Thank you very much for your consideration. I am very grateful for the support, and I know Sarah, Payton and Aiden will be, too.

***Note:
When making a donation, you'll see an option to leave a 'tip.' This is optional and those tips go to GoFundMe, not to Sarah Kampschaefer. If you don't wish to leave a tip, type $0.00.***
