Created August 19, 2018
Let me introduce you to Juan Namnun, a selfless man that gave his all for his family and community. He started a fire department over 40 years ago in his hometown of San Juan in the Dominican Republic. He passed away August 1st, 2018 and to honor his legacy, we, his family, are acquiring an used fire engine to replace the older, run-down vehicle currently in use.
I am using the funds in the United States to purchase the fire engine and then pay for transport it via ship to the Dominican Republic to the volunteer- run fire department established by Juan Namnun.

We need your help.

Imagine a horrible situation where your family was in danger. Your neighbors. Your grandparents. Your students. Your children.
Contribute today.
Save a life.
Honor a legacy.

ALMOST THERE!!!!
The fire truck was loaded to the Platinum Ray vessel and has arrived in Santo Domingo and is being processed by customs.
Regarding the donated items (jackets, hides, helmets, tools) we were finally able to find and engage a shipping company to provide a 20foot container Sunday for delivery by January 2nd. Total cost $3500.
We are $1200 short to cover this final expense. All donations are needed and appreciated!
Please help us finish this mission to honor our dad and help protect the town of San Juan.
