Helping the Coopers find a home

This past weekend a lovely member of our pre-school community in Westport lost her housing for herself and her two sweet kiddos ages 4 and 8, just after losing her brother.  She is a single working mom and is in grave need of support to transition to a safe home and to acquire a car in order to keep her job and bring her kids to school. My husband and I have happily opened our home to them for the time being, and the amazing moms in our community have generously helped find clothing for the kids and have provided meals.  She bravely asked for help with her kids safety and well-being in mind. She is a sweet and loving mother, a hard worker, and has had a pretty hard life, yet has endured and even perservered despite those challenges. We're now hoping to raise enough that she can put a down-payment on a car, and afford first, last and deposit on a home for her little family in the next 2-3 weeks.
