Fill a Backpack (Hurricane Harvey)

Hurricane Harvey devastated hundreds of thousands of families in Houston and the surrounding areas. Families have been displaced and uprooted following the massive flooding, tornadoes, and hurricane winds. Amidst all the chaos, we have seen the incredible hearts of those who have donated their time, boats, trucks, money, and so much more to help our city cope with this disaster. 

Hundreds of school districts have cancelled classes for what was supposed to be the first week of a new school year. Families have lost their entire homes including all their clothes, belongings, and livelihoods. 

I'm attempting to collect donations to fund filling up some backpacks with school supplies so that the children of these families can attend school next week with a clear mind. We as adults can continue to help one another, stress with one another, and rely on one another. However, our children should be able to continue the rest of the school year with no distractions, worries, and doubts as to what they will write with or carry their books with.
