This GoFundMe is being organized to help Heather and Dreyson Beguin (mother and son), owners of KB Natural Alternatives, offset legal costs, and loss of income due to having their CBD store raided and closed after the second day of business.
KB Natural Alternatives, a store located in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, was raided by local law enforcement the second day this store officially opened. Law enforcement closed their shop down, confiscated their product(s), credit/debit cards, as well as any revenue made for the two days they were open. The store being shut down, prevents any future sales and income to help with this pending litigation process.
The money from this GoFundMe will be used to offset costs associated with legal fees, loss of income and costs associated to help support their storefront. Any money leftover will be donated back to the education, awareness, and support of other CBD businesses or causes to help pay it forward.
We want to help spread the word about how wonderful the health benefits of CBD oil and products are and how the legislation needs to be changed in states like Nebraska. It’s the interpretation of the law, rather than the law itself which is making owning these stores a challenge. However, you don’t have to look very far to understand how important having access to these valuable products are to people afflicted with chronic pain. People from all age ranges, and walks of life looking for natural alternatives to pain management or health and wellness, rather than having to resort to using prescription drugs.
