Update 7/11: The lawyer fee is $275 per hour as of today. We are also raising money for a forensic accountant to check the history of the funds for the past five years.
This is go fund me is to raise money from the homeowners to pay the retainer fee for the lawyer to represent us in our upcoming case again the South Hampton HOA.
The retainer fee is $500.00 and the refiling fee to include everyone homeowner fighting is against this is $177.00
We are hoping that every support can donate $20 to $30 for this. If we raise more we as the homeowners can decide what we want to use it for or return it. As of right now we don't know if we will need more money during the case but as of right now this is what he lawyer has requested.
We are the homeowners of South Hampton properties. Some of us have already started action against Mr. Davis to have him removed as president and charges brought against him for fraud and funds not being used properly. So far 10 years of financial records have been requested and been ignored. We asked for minutes of the meetings and elections. We have also asked who all agree to the 20+ signs protesting Windsor Manor to be plastered all over our neighborhood.
As homeowners we have the RIGHT to know and agree on a budget every year for the HOA. We need to know what these funds are paying since we do not have management agent ($36K according to this budget) , we do not have lights which every homeowner wants, we do not have trash pick ups in our association fees which every homeowner wants. we do not have sidewalks, we do not have things for the kids like nets on the basketball and tennis courts. So what is the association for? Nothing we pay goes toward was WE the homeowners want. This OUR NEIGHBORHOOD, NOT MR. DAVIS' KINGDOM.. The only people receiving budgets are new homeowners who are unaware of what he doing. Some people haven't received budgets in over 8 years, yet you pay him because you are scared of his threats of taking you to court.
Well, we have now gotten the green light take him to court and make him answer questions that we all want to know. To start the HOA new with everything we want which includes getting rid of him and starting over the right way.
Please help us continue this and come July we will ready to go court arm to take this HOA on.
