Urgent Veterinary Care for Felix

My name is Cory , for those whom do not know me. This campaign was created in order to help my sweet and unusual cat named Felix with his recently acquired physical illness – diabetes. As of right now he has a $1500.00 balance with both the SF SPCA Veterinary Hospital – which is where he is currently receiving treatment as well there is an additional $300.00 which is also owed to Alta View Pet Hospital, in Mountain View. It was about a month and a half ago when we went to the Mountain View Veterinary office because it was close by to where we were staying at that time.
It is my belief that Felix has become ill with this recent new medical problem due to the fct that stress can cause a cat’s blood sugar to raise significantly – which can produce diabetes in the animal which has been stressed for quite sometime.
And I know that both Felix and myself have been extremely stressed out due to the fact that we were separated for close to three months – only seeing one another maybe 3 to 4 times, that entire time. This was a first for both of us. There were times in the past where I did go on a vacation or left town for a few days, and he was left behind, at home with a sitter – but that’s the extent of our absence from one another within the whole 12 years we’ve been together.
To be perfectly honest – the first day on vacation, I really start to miss him badly and give it 2-3 more days without him – and I can’t tell you how much I am happy to be going back home again – that I will drive long distances, refusing to stop if I can for anything and obviously driving way over the speed limit too – because I simply can’t wait to get back into town and immediately go see him.
And as soon as he hears me pulling up to the house, he comes walking straight over to me, talking up a storm. Obviously, the sentimental feelings are mutual.
Back in March of this year, we – meaning Felix, Pinchy (my other cat, whom was a recent addition to our family. He was suppose to be a foster cat only!) and myself – experienced a very traumatizing event – which changed out whole entire world – turning it upside down entirely. Within the last 2 years, we’ve moved about 15 times, because of safety issues which came about due to a Domestic Violence Relationship which also had stalking behavior implemented in this on going problem which I’ve been working my absolute hardest ever – to overcome the damages and destruction intentionally caused by the other party –and stop any further losses and difficulties from manifesting in our lives.
Although I no longer am in contact with this person – I still need to look over my shoulder constantly, looking for signs that he’s been lurking around again – and some how managed to find us, yet again. If that wasn’t stressful enough – I also have found that this person has been spreading horrible rumors about me to my associates and friends – and must be pretty convincing, and I know relentless is sharing his fabrications with anyone whom will listen to him talk – and admittedly he’s been doing his best to recruit others to join in his “complete destruction of me and my entire life.” He even wants to see Felix euthanized if he ever succeeds in killing me.
This is in part why I need to assure Felix gets the medical treatment and on going monitoring of his condition so that he doesn’t die as a result from this person’s uncalled for obsessive dangerous abusive attacks
Please, anything will help – no matter how small. Every little bit is essential and every little bit is appreciated from the bottom of my heart and soul completely.
