National MathCon Finals For FCW

Chris John, Kenny Wright, and I (Shubham Singh) are all in 11th grade and are proud members of Fairchild Wheeler's Math Club ! From the past 2 years students of FCW have placed in top 10 nationally ( ranked 1st in 2015 and 6th in 2016 ). This year, the math club has undergone several practice sessions and tests to prepare for the finals. In MathCon, ( http://mathcon.org) ‌,  we became national finalists ( top 99.5% ) in the 11th grade category - it was so exciting when we learned that the three of us would be representing the school in the national round! Out of more than 49,000 students in 42 states from 330 schools, we are in the top 600 who have been invited to Chicago to compete against hundreds of others in April 2017. To fund this trip (5 plane tickets - 2 chaperones included, 3 hotel rooms for 2 nights, and transportation) we need your help!  The grand total for this trip is $6000; it seems like an enormous number but every dollar counts. Please support us and the math club, and in return we will try our hardest to win not only this contest, but all in the future.
