You’ve asked for it and it’s happening! Parents and students alike have been requesting a Playground on the school campus for some time now. A big thanks to the FAST Board and FAST Family PTO for getting the Playground Project off to a great start. So far, the land has been cleared, a fence, mulch, and security cameras have been installed, a design concept has been completed, and a few starter pieces have been placed for our kids to play on. We now need YOUR HELP to get this project complete!
The construction and installation of our custom rocket-themed design Treehouse Play structure will be approximately $40,000. The FAST Board has generously agreed to match parent contributions and, thus, we need to raise approximately $20,000 to get this project LAUNCHED! The fundraising campaign will only be able to run for a short time so please donate as soon as possible. Our goal is to get this project scheduled and complete before the end of the school year for all current students to enjoy.
Based on the results of the Playground Survey, parents and the community requested a natural, fun, safe structure for kids of all grade levels to enjoy. We are working closely with a local design team and company to fulfill as many of these requests as possible. We have a great design concept laid out which incorporates the landscape and mature trees within the current Playground area.
Our kids have been creative and imaginative in their play for some time now and they deserve another outlet of exploration and fun during recess. Your support will mean we can move forward with this project and showcase a fun, safe, tasteful, and artistic Playground structure for all of the kids at FAST to enjoy!
