A family of 5 needs our help

Assalamualaikum

I have known this muslim family for over a year know and I have seen them struggle.   The husband is currently working part time and supporting his Wife and 3 kids (all under 5 years of age).  Living in New York  can get quite  expensive and they are trying to make ends meet.  The family of 5 is currently residing in Queens NY in a one bedroom basement.

Their 4 year old son just joined school and expenses are adding up.
The mother of 3 works at home.  She doesn't have alot of customers but she tries to make time from taking care of her 9 month old.  

The family recently moved here over a year ago, and they have been struggling  to make ends meet.  Recently the husband's hours at work were cut down and he is no longer able to support his family on his income and the landlord is demanding rent and the expenses for their child's school, baby food, diapers are all adding up.  

Recently a report was filed against the family for keeping the children in a one bedroom basement. The family spent 3 days at a local shelter and it's been very difficult for them especially with kids.

I have tried to offer her money in the past, but she never accepts it and likes to work for it. So I take my business to her and have her and recommend  her to other people as well.  Due to the circumstances of her situation, she has asked for my help.  They have found an apartment for $1450 EXCLUDING utilities and with security and 2 months advance they are not able to move .

If we are able to  raise funds, they can have a head start and move out from the basement and pay their rent for a few months in advance and purchase the supplies for school and diapers for the baby.  lets prevent this family from  spliting up and prevent the children being raised away in a different country away from the father.  Moving out of  the basement will help their case against the child services and allow them to have some peace of mind. 

Please help however you can, diapers, baby food, winter clothes, anything that can help keep the family together under one roof.
