Annapolis Family Day Festival 2017

We would like to thank all who donated their Time, Talent, Energy and Finances that made ANNAPOLIS FAMILY DAY FESTIVAL 2016 A SUCCESS! We are BACK to build off of the success of last year and take it a degree HIGHER with our 2nd Annual FAMILY DAY FESTIVAL --  JULY 29, 2017.

We intend to have a Car Show, Marching Band, Youth Activities, Football, Track, Arts & Crafts, Pony Rides, Youth Dance-Off, Moon Bounces, Local Rap Artists and Bands, Info Booths, Health and Finance
 and much more!

To help make all of this a reality we are asking the community to support this FREE event with a donation of $25.00 or More. If you are unable to donate $25.00, we encourge you to give whatever of your finances, time, talent and resources. We thank you in advance.

WHO WE ARE
The Annapolis Local Organizing Committee (LOC) -
A group comprised of males and females of different ages, social, educational and economic backgrounds.

OUR VISION
To make our community and society a decent and safe place to live by informing, inspiring, uplifting and creating and economic based grounded in ethical and spiritual principles.

We will need:
• to secure permits
• tents (shade), tables, chairs etc.
• equipment rental
• advertising
• sound systems, generators, DJ, band
• childrens games, moon bounce
• board games etc.

WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!

Again, we respectfully request at least 300 of our friends, family, FBF, etc., to give at least $25.00 toward our initial goal of $7,500. This will assist with the expenses of our current project as well as financially fuel further projects in securing businesses.





RECENT ACTIVITIES
.• Secured (3) buses to attend 20th Anniversary of Million Man March (gave Free Snack Bags to all who traveled).



• Successful " Youth Talent Show" gave each Youth participant cash prizes.




• Successful " Black History Program"that included a book giveaway, spoken word, African Dancers, and guest speakers.
