Family Separation - Reunite Sonia!

Donation protected
The separation of families is not specific to what is happening at the border, there are families that are being separated every day by ICE activity in our communities.

Sonia Felix Castanon is a domestic violence and sexual assault survivor, and now a victim of this administration’s family separation policy.  Sonia has been in ICE custody for more than 10 months, separated from her four children, including her 13-year old U.S. citizen son. Sonia's 22-year-old daughter, Deisy, has been working tirelessly to support her family in Delhi, CA while her mother, Sonia, is being detained in Mesa Verde Detention Facility.

When Sonia was 14-years-old, her father forced her to marry against her will, and for years she endured constant physical and sexual violence from her husband and from multiple other men.  Even though an immigration judged granted her the right to remain in the U.S. permanently, immigration authorities have refused to release her and instead are continuing to try to deport her.

The Felix Castanon family has gone through immense pain and suffering from being separated from their mother - the glue that keeps the family together. No donation will go unnoticed! Please share this fundraising campaign with your networks and show that the community will not allow family separation to continue to happen!
